Sean Knox
Sean is the CEO & President of HiEmployment and was previously the owner and President of POI Employment, LLC. Sean has over 18 years of experience in professional staffing in Hawai'i. After working for a national, mainland based staffing agency, Sean decided to open POI Employment in April 2005 with a focus on personalized, high quality services.
Sean has been working in business management since 1993, when he received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Puget Sound. Although Sean is a "local boy," growing up on both the Big Island and Maui, his business management experience has taken him to Washington and England. In 1999, he returned home to Hawaii with his wife Sarah Knox.
Stephanie Morris
Stephanie joined HiEmployment in 2013 as the receptionist and quickly moved up to Staffing Support, Office Manager, Payroll Manager and is now the Director of Administration. She is our go-to expert for payroll processing, invoicing clients, financial accounting and HR day-to-day tasks.
She comes from years of experience in customer service and holds an AAS degree from North Country Community College. She now resides in Vermont continuing to support us remotely. When she is not in the office she enjoys hiking, reading and crafting.
Jennifer Green
Jennifer is a seasoned staffing professional with over 25 years of expertise in human resources, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee development. Known for her ability to align top talent with organizational goals, she brings both strategic insight and hands-on experience to her role as Staffing Manager. Jennifer has held regional positions in both the private and non-profit sectors, with a particular focus in healthcare.
Jennifer believes that the key to success in staffing is connecting the right people with the right opportunities. She's passionate about building diverse, dynamic teams that not only meet client needs but also help candidates thrive in their roles.
A native of Honolulu, Jennifer has also called Maui and the Big Island home. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, and soaking up the sun at the beach with loved ones.
Mary Ann Llamedo
Mary Ann was born in Great Falls, Montana but has called Honolulu home for more than 40 years. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, MVC; she recently completed her Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Mary Ann has been married to husband, Andy, for over 30 years and has three adult daughters who are teachers and professional musicians. Mary Ann spent 17 years in private school education, including administration, before joining the team at HiEmployment as our Educational Services Staffing Manager.
Sarah Pou
Sarah began her career at HiEmployment as a Staffing Support specialist in 2022 and quickly became an essential part of the Hospitality Staffing department. Six months later, she was promoted to Staffing Manager, where she cultivated a culture of accountability and excellence. The Hospitality Staffing department oversees Front of House, Security, Culinary, Janitorial, and Stewarding contracts at the Hawaii Convention Center, plus staffing requests from country clubs, cruise lines, schools, catering companies, and restaurants.
Before joining HiEmployment, Sarah had an extensive 18-year career in Patient Services, Recruiting, HR, Payroll, and Information Services across Hawaii and California.
Sarah's originally from American Samoa, which is renowned for its hospitality. She enjoys spending quality time with her loving and supportive husband, children, and grandson when she's not working.
Christina Aqui
Christina joined the HiEmployment team in 2016 as Staffing Support and has been promoted to Staffing Manager for Kauai. She has 17 years of customer service and management experience. Christina has lived on Kauai for most of her life. Born in Tennessee, her mom brought the family back to where their Kapule Ohana is from. Her passion is in helping others, whether they are family, friends, customers, clients or employees.
Working in the staffing industry, Christina utilizes her management skills and experience to support the HiEmployment clients and candidates who are looking to fulfill their staffing needs. Being from Kauai, where there are "small town values," she strives to treat everyone like she has known them all her life.
When she is not working, she enjoys assisting those in need with food, shelter and services. Christina also started a program with her sister called Mary and Martha Ministries where they assist transitioning female inmates as they reenter society.
Dion Saimon
Dion joined the HiEmployment ohana in 2019 as Staffing Support and now serves as the Hawai'i Island Staffing Manager. Dion has over 10 years of customer service and case management experience.
Originally from the beautiful island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Dion moved to Hawai'i in 2008 to study at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and has since called Hilo home. Dion is currently a sitting executive board member of two non-profit organizations focused on helping immigrants settle into Hawai'i. In his free time, Dion enjoys socializing with people from all walks of life.
